My Coaching Philosophy
People develop an interest in Fencing from all walks of life, and at all ages. As beginners they are naturally apprehensive, and perhaps unsure - so as a Coach, it's important to make them feel welcome, to re-assure them that learning to fence is well within their capabilities, to emphasise the positives - and to take it in easy steps, so that they can consolidate each week on what's been learnt so far.
At least one of my beginners has gone on to acquire a Gold Medal in Welsh team events – so I must be doing something right !

Qualified Armourer (Journeyman Armourer, Armoury team for the Welsh Open 2009-2019, Armoury team for the Commonwealth Fencing Championships team, Largs 2014);
